June 23 to June 24 Tashkent held a business summit of the SCO. Representative business delegations of Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, headed by the chairman of the national parts of the SCO Business Council gathered to discuss priorities and main directions of work for the near future.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held a forum on "Strengthening cooperation between the World Chambers Federation (WCF) and the CCI of Russia." It was the part of the WCF delegation visit to Moscow headed by its chairman Peter Mihok.

SPIEF 2016 hosted the BRICS Business Forum. President CCI of Russia Sergey Katyrin, chairman of the Russian chapter of the BRICS Business Council, moderated the meeting.

Agreement on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian export center (REC) was signed in St.Petersburg in the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2016. The document was signed by President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce Sergey Katyrin and General Director of REC Petr Fradkov.

Despite the impact of external factors Russia and the United Kingdom would continue bilateral economic cooperation, striving to realize the full potential of its total. Such a conclusion was made by speakers at the SPIEF "Russia - United Kingdom: the most promising areas of trade and economic relations - 100 years of cooperation" session. The main reason of the meeting was the 100th anniversary of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce (RBCC) which will celebrate this year.

Russian- Kyrgyz conference "Prospects of trade, economic and investment cooperation under the Eurasian integration" took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held the Russian-Afghan Business Forum on trade and economic cooperation which coincided with the 7-th Moscow International Exhibition of Halal industry “Moscow Halal Expo 2016”.
